Marc Kocks joins fixed install division at Powersoft

Powersoft calls the appointment an “important investment” towards strengthening is presence in the market worldwide.

Powersoft has recruited pro-audio veteran Marc Kocks as business development manager for the fixed install market in the EMEA region, with the goal of strengthening its presence there worldwide. The company calls the appointment “an important investment in 2016”.

According to the company’s sales and marketing director, Luca Giorgi, “Marc was looking for a new opportunity to apply his vast experience in install projects, by working for a company with an international exposure. At the same time, we were planning to create a stronger team capable of communicating Powersoft’s unique selling points more efficiently with the major players in the fixed install market. It was a fortunate that we managed to click the two needs together.”

In addition to his background in pro-audio ­– and in the fixed install market in particular – Kocks has previously been involved in selling Powersoft amplifiers while running the company’s Dutch distributor.

“Based on my experience in recent years Powersoft’s products, team and technologies are among the most professional and advanced in our industry,” says Kocks. “I am delighted to be part of the team and help build the presence of Powersoft products and technologies in the international fixed installation market.”

Territorially, his role will be focused across EMEA, where he will coordinate with Powersoft’s existing sales organisation as well as communicating and cross referencing with Powersoft’s subsidiary in the US.

“We really believe that this strategic appointment will mark another important phase in Powersoft’s growth. We also envisage that a new application team will be built around Marc’s activities in the near future,” concludes Giorgi.
