The two courses will be held on 23 and 24 November

Two training courses on hearing loop systems are being held by the ISCE.

The first will take place on 23 November and will teach people the best way to design and install a correctly working hearing loop system, ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

While induction loop systems are now mandatory for many premises, a large proportion are badly designed, poorly installed, and rarely maintained, the ISCE says. It is aimed at engineers, system designers, estimators, consultants and local authorities.

The second course is on 24 November and will teach people the latest and correct techniques for measuring hearing loop systems. With major revisions to regulatory requirements, the course will provide an understanding of the important measurement issues, together with an afternoon , hands-on, practical session to try out the techniques.

Both courses are presented by hearing loop technology expert, Peter Roe (pictured) are being held at Leisuretec’s TECZone in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire which is 10 minutes from Leighton Buzzard train station.
