PL+S 2016: New subs and more from B&C

The 21DS115 subwoofer utilises a four layer aluminum voice coil, which is said to offer an improvement in motor strength over previous coils

Brand new for Prolight + Sound from B&C Speakers is the 21DS115: a 3400 watt, 99dB efficient subwoofer that utilises a four layer aluminum voice coil, which the company says offers a significant improvement in motor strength over previous 115mm coil offerings.

B&C is also launching a new woofer from the MBX series; the 10MBX64. This high efficiency, high output, wide bandwidth woofer offers an alternative that is not currently available in the B&C Speakers range.

In other news from B&C, the company is now shipping the DE990TN and DE1090TN (pictured), 1.4” exit, inside ring, super-compact neodymium magnet compression drivers. These drivers offer loudspeaker designers the benefits of a large diaphragm, in a small package: wider frequency response, higher power handling, transparent high frequency performance and more.

B&C will also show the DE680TN 64mm diaphragm, 1.4” exit high frequency driver, 12NDL88 88mm voice coil woofer, 18RBX100 subwoofer, 8NSM64 and 5NSM38 sealed back midrange, and 3.5” and 4” broad-band woofers.

All products shown at Prolight + Sound 2016 are already shipping, or will ship shortly after the fair.
