POLAR has announced that Biamp’s new Parlé tabletop microphones are available for shipping.
It is aimed at conference rooms of varying type and size and utilises its patent-pending Beamtracking technology with four 90° zones providing full 360° coverage.
Available in black or white and comprising a network box and a tabletop microphone, the TTM-X actively tracks and mixes conversations from around the table, allowing far-end participants to experience the conversation as they would in a face to face meeting. Each network box has its own digital signal processing module and comes with an additional RJ-45 connector to add an optional TTM-XEX expansion model. A maximum of two microphones is permitted per network box (one TTM-X with TTM-XEX).
Stuart Leader, director at POLAR Integrated Solutions is enthusiastic about this latest addition which comes with a five-year warranty: “Room aesthetics are a major priority in contemporary settings and Biamp has significantly raised the bar in this respect with both their tabletop and ceiling models. With a very low profile and measuring only 110mm in diameter, the TTM-X virtually disappears into the table whilst still delivering crystal clear conferencing.”
