Sequoia Audio, a division of DV2, has been appointed by Powersoft as the company’s new distributor in France.
Dal Fitto, DV2’s founder says: “I have always had enormous respect for the company when I have seen them at trade shows,” he continued. “They have an incredible technology, which is reflected in a wide range of exciting products at very affordable prices. This will open up new markets both for permanent installation and touring.”
Tracing the background to the new partnership, Powersoft’s pro audio business unit manager, Luca Giorgi, says: “I believe the perception of Powersoft in France is still through our older platforms. We recognise that quality is decision makers’ top priority where audio is concerned, and so we had been looking for a distributor in France capable of selling our products independently from a specific package.
Sequoia Audio will now start actively promoting the brand through its website, media advertising and press reports. In addition, the company has a powerful sales force and will mount an aggressive programme of roadshows. A training seminar is already in the pipeline and at the end of the year Powersoft will be represented at the JTSE Show, targeting both the touring and permanent installation markets.
The appointment also gives Sequoia Audio an alluring partnership, coupled with MDC’s high performance loudspeakers, which they also distribute. “More and more people are looking for matched systems or packages and Powersoft works perfectly with many loudspeaker brands, including our MDC loudspeakers,” comments Dal Fitto.
