The Pro Sound Awards 2017 are coming up on Tuesday September 28, celebrating the best of the pro audio industry in all-new venue The Steel Yard in London.
While the deadline for the majority of awards closes tonight (July 24) – the Rising Star award, a special accolade for exceptional under-30s in the biz – is chosen by our friends over at Audio Media International.
With just 65 days until the big night, they want to hear from YOU to help them pull together a shortlist comprising the most promising talent in the industry at the moment.
You can nominate yourself or a stand-out colleague. Eligible candidates for the Rising Star Award must be:
– Aged 30 or under
– Have two years or less of industry experience
– Currently working in the world of pro audio (engineers, producers, technicians, sound designers, etc).
You’ve got two weeks to send your nominations to AMI’s senior staff writer Colby Ramsey (firstname.lastname@example.org) explaining why you, or the person you have in mind, should make it onto the shortlist. Please provide as much information as possible on the person’s recent projects and past achievements, as this will increase their chances of being selected.
The deadline for nominations is Friday 4 August 2017.
