Orlando-headquartered Professional Wireless Systems has expanded its rental programme with the addition of Lucas Lewis, national rental manager.
Professional Wireless is one of the audio industry’s suppliers and supporters of wireless sound systems for live and broadcast events. Services include wireless and RF gear pro sales, frequency coordination and planning, live show management, wireless sound system installations, and FCC Part 74 Licensing.
The announcement was made by Jim Van Winkle, general manager of the company.
“Our organisation continues to expand,” explained Van Winkle. “We have always had a national rental presence but have lacked a specific point person; Lucas is now that person. This will allow us to provide our products and services to a broader base of customers. We are very excited to have him on board.”
Based in Orlando, Lewis is charged with not only working with production companies, but also reaching out to establish a presence with houses of worship, schools, and corporate AV.
Prior to joining Professional Wireless, Lewis worked with PRG as an audio asset manager where he oversaw the flow of assets internally moving between different locations to meet the needs of different regions. Before joining PRG he did commercial AV installs for Ford AV, including teleconferencing, video networking and distributed audio.
“I am very excited to be given the opportunity to define the new role and set a standard for the industry,” concluded Lewis. “The recent growth of the company – with new offices in Nashville and New York City – has spurred interest and rental business in those areas. I think there is much room for growth and I’m looking forward to taking Professional Wireless rental business as far as it can go.”
