PSNEurope January issue out now

Don't miss exclusive pro audio industry news, interviews and insights in the January 2020 issue of the magazine, available now

Björk’s Cornucopia

PSNEurope’s January edition is out now, providing an exciting look into the new year and what’s in store for the ever-changing pro audio industry in 2020.

Our beautiful cover feature takes a deep dive into Björk’s incredible immersive production Cornucopia as editor Daniel Gumble gains insight from the show’s engineers, finding out about their working relationships with the innovative Icelandic performer (p24-27). You can read it online here.

And without further avail, we spoke to a plethora of leading pro audio brands about their expectations for the upcoming NAMM Show in January 2020, which in many words was described as an ‘unparalleled event’ (p11-19). We also caught up with the show’s CEO Joe Lammond to gain an exclusive preview of the exciting 2020 edition of NAMM (p20-21).

Elsewhere, our regular columnist Katie Tavini – who just completed a year of writing for PSNEurope (which we looked forward to every month) – finds out from top engineers across the board about their experiences with freelancing (p36-37). In addition, our new columnist Mariana Lopez, an audio engineer and senior lecturer in Sound Production and Post Production at the University of York, starts off her first column by outlining what she looks forward to in the new year (p35).

Meanwhile, we also spoke to leading New York mastering engineer Heba Kadry (p28-29) and found out from SSE founder John Penn what his plans are as he moves on to a reduced role in the company – following from SSE Audio Group’s transition into Solotech UK Group – and hands over the reigns to his son Alex Penn and Spencer Beard (p6-7). We also heard from Alex Penn himself in an exclusive Q&A about his new authority (p54).

Not to mention much, much more exciting news, interviews, and insights…
