PSNPresents is back with some top names!

Register for the event with Grammy-award winner Andrew Scheps and put November 2 in your diary

PSNPresents returns on Wednesday, 2 November for another top night of pro-audio panels and essential socialising!

For this the fourth edition of the event, we’re moving to the Sway Bar in London’s Covent Garden. Joining your hosts on stage to chew the fat and share a tale or too will be leading lights from the recording studio world, followed by a panel from the sound-to-picture, post-production industry.

Already confirmed are world-class mixer and engineer Andrew Scheps (Green Day, Hozier, Chili Peppers, Adele) and award winning studio talent Wes Maebe (UB40, Carly Simon, Ellie Goulding) – with more names to be confirmed!

As always, entry to PSNPresents is free, but we do request that you register beforehand. Hint: there is a free drink in it if you do.

A little about Andrew Scheps…. He has won three Grammys and engineered and mixed some of the biggest rock bands in the world: Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Linkin Park, Hozier and U2. He’s worked with legends such as Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond and Iggy Pop, as well as indie artists such as Manu Chao, Tinariwen, Cass McCombs and Blood Red Shoes. He’s toured with Stevie Wonder (as a keyboard tech) and Michael Jackson (mixing live sound), but found his home in the studio, honing his craft working for producers such as Rob Cavallo, Don Was and Rick Rubin.

After 25 years in Los Angeles, he recently relocated to the UK where he has set up his own mix room (Punkerpad UK) as well as partnering with Monnow Valley Studios; putting his Neve 8068 MkII and extensive collection of outboard gear, microphones and instruments into what he considers to be one of the best sounding recording rooms in the UK.

Wes Maebe (pictured right) has worked with a plethora of clients, from Ellie Goulding to Elliott Randall to UB40; from Channel 4 to Burberry to Plan B to Celine Dion! Maebe ran a master class at this year’s NAMM about optimising your sound system. He also regularly posts short videos for TC Electronic on Multi- discipline Talents in Modern Audio Production for upcoming artists and for The Vintage Musician on getting the best out of vintage equipment in a modern world.

More guests are to be confirmed so stay tuned!
