Reproduced Sound 2016: abstract deadline approaches

The Institute of Acoustics' annual conference has issued a final call for abstracts on this year's theme: 'Sound with pictures – time is of the essence'

Reproduced Sound – the annual conference organised by the Electro-Acoustics Group of the Institute of Acoustics (in collaboration with ABTT, AES, APRS and ISCE) – has issued a reminder that abstracts for this year’s event should be sent by this Friday, 20 May.

The 32nd Reproduced Sound conference will be held on 15-17 November 2016 at the Holiday Inn, Herbert Walker Avenue, in Southampton, UK.

This year’s event is entitled ‘Sound with pictures – time is of the essence’. Papers are invited on the following topics:

· Cinema sound
· Live sound
· Audio system design
· Environmental noise control of events
· Audio/visual timing
· Intelligibility
· Measurement and evaluation
· Loudspeakers and microphones
· Acoustics of venues
· Case studies.
