Significant JBL VTX purchase in Poland

Two PA companies in the Krakow region have invested in a total of 64 VTX V25 line array elements, 44 subwoofers and 66 Crown Audio amplifiers, sourced from Polish distributor ESS Audio.

A consortium of PA companies in Poland’s Krakow region has made a significant investment in JBL’s VTX line array system including Crown Audio VRacks sourced from Polish distributor, ESS Audio. In total, the two PA companies – Audio-Tech and Music Cook Sound Design (MCSD) – have purchased 64 of the VTX V25 line array elements, 44 G28/S28 subwoofers, and 66 Crown I-Tech IT 12000HD amplifiers, divided into 22 VRack systems. The consortium had been close to investing in an alternative system when they learned that the new JBL VTX system was being launched at January’s NAMM Show in California. Based on the strength of the spec, and the recommendation from ESS Audio, they decided to place an order. It was only in March when they finally heard the system at the Harman/AED Rent VTX listening experience in Belgium. As previously reported in PSNEurope, AED Rent placed a massive order of over 300 cabinets in January 2012. Working with ESS Audio, Audio-Tech and MCSD introduced the system to industry professionals at their own live event, based on a system of 15 of the V25’s on a main PA hang, with 10 of the G28 subs on each side. “The reaction couldn’t have been more positive. All sound engineers and event company representatives were stunned by the SPL and overall sound quality of the system,” said ESS Audio director, Witold Karalow (pictured left with Wojciech Lipczynski, owner of Audio Tech; Irenerusz Policht, owner of Music Cook Sound Design; and Jacek Karalow of ESS Audio).
