SSE Audio Group has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Europe’. The report is a celebration of high-growth and the most dynamic small and medium sized businesses across Europe.
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their country peers.
This follows SSE Audio Group being in the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ in 2016.
Managing director John Penn said: “Once again, it’s great to be recognised in such a prestigious report from the London Stock Exchange. Last year we were pleased to be named in their 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report, so to be recognised again, this time on a European basis, is fantastic.”
SSE Audio Group was established in 1976 and an audio rental company and has grown to become the largest professional audio services supplier in the UK.
Valdis Dombrovskis, vice president for the Euro and social dialogue at London Stock Exchange, added: “Europe needs more fast-growing and innovative companies as they are the backbone of our future economic development and job creation. This is why improving the ability of dynamic SMEs to access finance is one of my priorities.
SSE’s rental division, SSE Hire, provides sound reinforcement for many artists – deploying its equipment to help musicians play festivals, arenas or intimate venues. SSE Sales is an authorised dealer for many major pro audio manufacturers, supplying everything from a microphone to a full PA system.
