Yamaha is unveiling its new VXS1L Series of slim column array speaker systems will make their official debut at InfoComm 2017, along with the recently announced VXS1ML compact speaker and VXS3S sub.

Orlando, FL (June 14, 2017)—Yamaha is unveiling its new VXL1 Series of slim column array speaker systems will make their official debut at InfoComm 2017, along with the recently announced VXS1ML compact speaker and VXS3S sub.

The new VXL1 Series is designed for use in small commercial spaces such as retail stores and malls, corporate offices, educational institutions, and other sites where pattern control is required. The series is intended to provide flexible coverage, with units able to connect vertically for deeper coverage, or side by side to tighten horizontal dispersion.

The lineup includes six models of different size and color; the VXL1-8 covers 40 degrees in the vertical plane, while the VXL1-16 and VXL1-24 models can be switched between 20 and 30 degrees of vertical coverage via a switch on the rear of the speaker.

The VXS1ML features a newly developed 1.5” full-range driver unit that offers 170° horizontal and vertical dispersion. The VXS3S subwoofer employs Yamaha’s own SR-Bass technology and supports both low- and high-impedance connections to serve the scale and purpose of a variety of systems. It also includes satellite connectors that allow direct connection to the VXS1ML or other full-range speakers.
