Baptist Church Updates with A&H

Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church in Seoul recently upgraded its audio system with various Allen & Heath dLive and ME digital systems.

Seoul, Korea (October 27, 2016)—Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church in Seoul recently upgraded its audio system with various Allen & Heath dLive and ME digital systems.

The church’s dLive system comprises a S5000 Surface at FOH with a DM48 MixRack installed on stage.

“The S5000’s user interface is superb,” said Sanghun Kim, media manager at the church. “I can reach every function in just one or two touches, and I can reach a function several different ways. For me, the dual touch screen is essential, and dLive has a super-fast response, and natural touch like a smart phone.”

The church also purchased a ME personal mixing system, comprising one ME-U hub and five ME-1 mini mixers, to manage monitors.

Kangnam’s worship band bass player, Daehee Kim, who is also an experienced jazz musician, remarked, “I have tried other personal mixers but ME is on another level. The sound quality is as if it came from a recording studio, the stereo image and density of the sound are really good. Also, ME has a built-in microphone and you can plug in your 3.5mm jack. These are small details but the small things can affect the way you play during a performance.”
