Concert Hall Moves to Midas

Since opening two years ago, the 300-capacity Framus & Warwick Concert Hall has used a Midas Pro X as the FOH desk for its house system needs.

Markneukirchen, Germany (November 17, 2016)—Since opening two years ago, the 300-capacity Framus & Warwick Concert Hall has used a Midas Pro X as the FOH desk for its house system needs.

The system was spec’d by Marco Kuhnmunch of thomann Audio Professionell. “Midas is accepted by all touring productions and fits the riders out there,” said Kuhnmunch, explaining his choice.

The Concert Hall has the ProX positioned at front of house for 64 analog inputs and 16 digital I/O, with two DL231 stageboxes routing signals from the stage. A pair of DL155 stageboxes run wireless microphones and the AES-EBU connections to the line array amplifiers. To record live shows, a Klark Teknik DN9650 is used.

The Midas Pro X provides 168 input channels, 99 buses and a 96 kHz sample rate. AES50 digital audio connectivity allows for scalability of up to 288 inputs and 294 outputs.
