Montreal (May 10, 2018)—Mickey Curbishley has been named president of Solotech’s U.S. Rental Division. This appointment will be effective as of June 3, 2018.
Reporting to Martin Tremblay, president and chief executive officer of Solotech, Curbishley will be responsible for Solotech’s Rental Division for Touring, Special Events and Corporate market segments in the United States; this role will include overseeing operations in Las Vegas, Nashville, DeKalb and the company’s upcoming Los Angeles office.
Part of the touring industry for decades, Curbishley past career includes various leadership roles for PRG’s concert touring division over the course of 18 years, eventually taking on the role of president and CEO of PRG Music Group. Most recently, he was senior vice president, Touring at live event scenic equipment provider TAIT Towers.
Under this new structure, Martin Chouinard will now assume the role of president, Rental Division (Canada), and together, Curbishley and Chouinard will be jointly responsible for Solotech’s Rental Division strategy.
