New York, NY (September 27, 2017)—The annual AES Convention is the high point of the pro audio year, and no one ever wants to miss it. That goes for attendees, but it also goes for exhibitors, and with that in mind, d&b audiotechnik has already announced what it will be up to when the Convention is held October 18-20 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Making its presence know, d&b will have its first ever d&b demonstration program held at AES, in demo room 3D04, where it will provide insight into the upcoming d&b Soundscape—currently scheduled for release in early 2018—intended to aid sound designers and engineers with multidimensional source placement, acoustic room simulation and signal matrix processor capability.
Each d&b session, including the d&b Soundscape presentation, will be held multiple times a day, giving visitors a live listening experience and opportunity to put questions to the team. Wednesday and Friday’s demos will begin at 11:00am and take place every two hours until the last session at 5:00pm on Wednesday, and 3:00pm on Friday. Thursday’s presentations will begin at 10:00am, then every two hours until the last session at 4:00pm.
In other offerings, Daniel Belcher from research and development and Nick Malgieri from the US support team will present “Immission Mission,” a close look at NoizCalc, the far field noise immission modeling software from d&b, on Friday at 3:00pm.
Additionally, Henning Kaltheuner, head of Strategic Business Development and Market Intelligence at d&b, will lead a discussion about networked audio solutions in a session titled “AV Networking – A One-Size-Fits-All Prospect?” beginning at 11:45am Friday.
