Highland Heights, OH (May 2, 2016)—Eighth Day Sound, tour sound provider for the likes of The Who, Madonna, Kings of Leon, Beyoncé, Drake, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, among others, has purchased a new Yamaha Rivage PM10 Digital Audio Console for its tour rental inventory.

Jack Boessneck, executive vice president, noted, “Whenever Yamaha releases a new ‘flagship’ console, the live sound industry always pays attention. It seems that over the years, Yamaha has produced more industry-accepted standard consoles than anyone. And, with our long-standing relationship, becoming an Ambassador Dealer made perfect sense in order to service our customers’ needs.”

Boessneck noted that the console’s arrival was greeted with interest from around the company’s staff: “Some have said it feels very familiar and not intimidating; the best Yamaha console ever. They also like the Rupert Neve Designs plug-ins, along with the Silk processing technology.”

Founded in 1980, Eighth Day Sound also handles numerous festivals, including Bonnaroo, Hangout, Governors Ball and Electric Forest, and has an installed sound division that specializes in permanent solutions for live sound environments.
