Eric Johnson Rocks Waco with Yorkville

Waco, TX (November 21, 2016)—Veteran guitar player Eric Johnson is one of those artists who are always on the move, with an 11-date West Coast tour set to go next month even though he just finished up a seven-week fall tour this fall. One of those fall dates was at The Backyard in Waco, Texas, which found his rock and blues providing a change of pace from the venue’s typically country-oriented offerings.

For the show, Johnson, Chris Maresh (bass) and Brannen Temple (drums) were heard via a Yorkville Sound PA, provided by Texas Tour Gear (Belton, TX).

In full, the live sound provider brought in a half-dozen Paraline PSA1 full-range cabinets, flown three per side with Paraline flying hardware.

Providing some additional boost to the event were Elite LS2100P 21-inch powered subwoofers.

Rain didn’t dampen the audience’s enthusiasm—or the Paraline cabinets, which were protected under NYC Undercover waterproof covers, used to shield them from moisture without coloring the sound.
