Bulle, Switzerland (September 11, 2017)—The Swiss may be known for their knives and watches, but they also make precise decisions as well. Case in point: The 300-capacity club Centre Culturel Ebullition in Bulle marked its 25th anniversary by buying itself a present—a new DiGiCo SD12 console.
Housed in a 100-year-old cinema, the venue regularly serves up everything from rock to ska to Hip-Hop and hardcore metal, as well as theatre productions and cinema.
The venue’s aging analog console had to go, so Vincent Sudan, the club’s technical manager opted for a DiGiCo system built around an SD12 with a DiGiCo Waves SoundGrid DMI Card for plug-in integration, D2-Rack on stage (48 in/16 out) and SD-Mini Rack at FOH to provide enough I/O for Ebullition’s guest engineers.
“We chose a DiGiCo SD Series console for its excellent sound quality and functionally,” said Sudan. “We wanted to have the most recent console and the SD12 was the ideal choice because of its size, as we have limited space.
