Celestion Launches IR Video Contest

Ipswich, UK (March 1, 2017)—Celestion is inviting participants to submit a video showing how they use the UK speaker manufacturer’s new Impulse Responses (IRs), for a chance to win a host of prizes, including a pair of Celestion speakers.

Celestion recently launched definitive digital representations of the company’s classic guitar speaker tones at the Celestion Plus website. Impulse Responses featuring seven different classic Celestion loudspeaker models, each in five different speaker cabinets, may be auditioned, purchased and downloaded for use in studio and live production applications.

One first prize winner will receive a pair of Celestion speakers of their choice from the company’s full line, plus a swag bag filled with Celestion branded merchandise. Two runners up will each receive a Celestion swag bag. Everyone who enters will receive a discount code via email for 20 percent off an individual cabinet.

Contest rules:

1. The competition is free to enter. Contestants don't have to already have one of Celestion’s paid impulse response products. A free IR download, mixed for Celestion by producer/engineer Cenzo Townshend, is available on the website.

2. Load up the IRs into a setup (amp modeller, DAW, etc.) and record a video showing Celestion IRs in action. Please include either "Celestion Impulse Response" or "Celestion IR" in the title of the video.

3. Upload the completed video, which should be at least one minute long, to YouTube by 12:00 midnight PST on Friday, March 17, 2017, and complete the online entry form.

4. Share the video on your personal Facebook or Twitter account and tag Celestion.

Entries are limited to one per person. The winners will be announced on Friday, March 24, 2017, and will be chosen at the sole discretion of the team at Celestion. The official rules are posted on the Celestion Plus website.
