Frankfurt, Germany (April 11, 2017)—Rastatt, Germany-based manufacturer Lawo used the opportunity of ProLight + Sound 2017 to foreshadow a brand new flagship audio production console.

The new desk, according to the company, is “fully IP-based and specifically designed to provide optimal performance in video production environments.” It is designed for applications “requiring very-large-format mixing and routing functionality,” thus offering “a number of innovative mix-assist systems that enable engineers to focus on creating sophisticated, high-impact audio presentations for viewers.”

The new console will be displayed and demonstrated at the upcoming NAB Show in Las Vegas at the Lawo booth on Monday, April 24, 2014 at 11 AM.

Meanwhile, the Frankfurt show highlighted Lawo’s mc236 all-in-one live mixing desk; the Nova37, a compact 3RU audio router with a fixed RAVENNA/AES67 and MADI I/O configuration; the mc256 audio console; Lawo’s Compact Engine AoIP audio interface with onboard DSP resources and Lawo’s video processing toolkit; and more.
