New York, NY (July 12, 2019)—Podcast company Audiobook has opened two new podcast recording studios in its New York City office, aiming to expand its operation and support growth of its original content network and co-production partnerships.
“Our new studios will give us the ability to produce more than 40 shows out of our New York office alone, which is an important step in expanding our Audioboom Originals Network,” said Stuart Last, Audioboom COO, on the company’s blog.
With the addition of the new studios, the company’s production facility is expanded to more than 1,000 square feet, including a new green room. One studio will serve Audioboom’s roundtable and personality driven shows; the other will be put to use for one-on-one interview-based shows.
The company aims to launch 10 new podcasts this year, including Never Thought I’d Say This with Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin, biographical podcast A Life Lived and movie show Truth vs. Hollywood.
“New York City’s hub of creative talent along with our stellar team of in-house producers have laid the foundations for an incredibly creative podcast network,” said Last. “Our new studios represent a new standard for podcast production and will take the Audioboom Originals Network to new heights.”
