SAM Brands Worldwide Projects

Stephen Arnold Music has provided sonic branding for a variety of networks recently.

Dallas, TX (February 23, 2018)—Several new projects from sonic branding specialists Stephen Arnold Music have been connecting broadcasters and content creators with viewers of news, sports and entertainment in domestic and international markets.

Recent highlights include CNN’s “Aiming For Gold,” for the Winter Olympics, airing on CNN channels worldwide. The custom music is featured in various promos, in-show segments, and athlete profile pieces. The distinct sonic brand was recorded with live symphony players, blending Western sensibilities and classic Korean instruments including the gayageum, janggu drums and daegeum flute.

SAM Launches Digital Campaign

For Altitude Sports, the Colorado-based channel that broadcasts several Denver-based professional sports teams, including the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, Stephen Arnold Music was called on to create a sonic brand to accompany the live airings of the games.

Stephen Arnold Music provided CNN with a modern take on a classic style for its “New Year’s Eve Live 2018” special hosted by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. The music house matched up the art deco graphics with an orchestration of live horns and jazz piano straight out of the swing era. The performance backed up musical beds, teases, bumpers and transitions throughout the evening. The show was reportedly the most-watched cable New Year’s Eve special in history, spanning all demographics.

Stephen Arnold Music’s custom music package for Ada Derana, Sri Lanka’s first 24-hour news channel, includes variations for news, sports, weather and business, spanning the channel with an international sonic signature of live strings, horns and traditional Sri Lankan percussion.
