Burbank, CA (January 31, 2017)—South Lake Audio Services re-recording mixers Keith Rogers, CAS and Scott Weber have received a nomination in the Cinema Audio Society’s 53rd CAS Awards for their work on the HBO television series Westworld.
The mix team shares the nomination with production mixer John Pritchett, CAS, ADR mixer Mark Kondracki and Foley mixer Geordy Sincavage. The nomination, in the category Television – 1 Hour, comes for the series’ pilot episode, “The Original.” The 53rd CAS Awards will be presented February 18 in Los Angeles.

Other key members of the show’s sound team include Emmy-winning supervising sound editor Tom de Gorter, dialogue editor Fred Paragano and ADR supervisor Matt Sawelson, all from Atomic Sound, and composer Ramin Djawadi.
This is Rogers’ ninth CAS Award nomination. He won a CAS Award in 2010 for Into the Blue 2: The Reef. He is also a four-time Emmy Award nominee. This is Weber’s fourth CAS Award nomination. He is a six-time Emmy Award nominee, including a win in 2008 for the television series Lost.
