While only 26 years old, Taylor considers herself a veteran musician, after touring with her father, American blues artist Otis Taylor, for much of her early career. Now on her own, Taylor is bringing her own version of blues infused with rock, hip hop and metal influences to stages all over the U.S.

Throughout her show, while the audience gorged on barbeque steak, ribs and chicken, Taylor belted out a mix of traditional blues and rock in her Shure Beta 57 mic. Accompanying her for the performance was drummer Larry Thompson and guitarist Steve Mignano.

Taylor considers herself primarily a bassist, and performed one song playing solo with her bass guitar before her band joined her on stage. She is also a talented keyboardist, and performed a few songs on her Yamaha keyboard.

Other equipment used for the performance included Tannoy monitors and a collection of Sennheiser, Shure and AKG microphones.
