Mobile Festival Studio Loads Up on ADAM

Producer and engineer Chris Shepard has added a pair of ADAM Audio S2V monitors to his American Mobile Studio, which has been traveling around the U.S. for over a decade.

Chicago, IL (August 9, 2017)—Producer and engineer Chris Shepard has added a pair of ADAM Audio S2V monitors to his American Mobile Studio, which has been traveling around the U.S. for over a decade.

“I have tried a variety of speakers in the remote truck, which is essentially like being in a big box. The ADAM S2Vs provide that accurate balance of size and sound pressure level making a comfortable listening environment for me and for my clients,” says Shepard.

A typical season for American Mobile kicks off in early March in Austin, TX, with SXSW and a week of live broadcast for Pandora before moving on to California for the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; Tennessee for Bonnaroo (14th consecutive year); and Delaware for Firefly Festival. In July, the truck visits Pitchfork in Chicago and then Panorama Music Festival in New York. The American Mobile crew returns to Chicago in August for Lollapalooza, followed by San Francisco for Outside Lands. The fall leg includes two weeks at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and wraps up in New Orleans with Voodoo.

Shepard says of American Mobile and his U.S. festival credits, “We were the right guys with the right gear at the right time, and we’re thankful.”
