New York, NY (February 28, 2019)—Leslie Brathwaite, mix engineer for the likes of Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Pharrell Williams, Outkast, Cardi B and other chart toppers will conduct his first mixing seminar for Mix with the Masters in mid-April.
The multi-day event will be held at Studios La Fabrique in the south of France, April 16 to 22, 2019.
The seminar will cover many aspects of record-making, from engineering to production and business, but the primary focus will be on Braithwaite’s ITB mixing workflow. This is a private, in-person seminar, during which Brathwaite will be sharing his mixing techniques and philosophy exclusively with the participants. They will also have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback and work with him on their own projects.
While various genres will be discussed, Brathwaite’s specialty is in urban music (R&B, hip-hop, trap and pop). After working primarily on analog tape and large-format consoles in Atlanta from 1992, Brathwaite shifted toward the digital realm in the new millennium and now follows a fully digital workflow.
For the duration of the seminar, attendees will have full-board accommodation at the recording studio, each with their own rooms within the mansion and gourmet meals prepared by chefs.
