One Year On, API Becomes Studio Lynchpin

Legacy AXS desk lands at secret studio.

Jessup, MD (January 3, 2019)—Better late than never comes the news that, in late 2017, Boston-based AVN Systems completed the commissioning of a 32-channel Legacy AXS console, the second AXS to be sold, which was purchased by a private client shortly after the desk’s debut.

In large part, the reputation of PK Pandey facilitated the sale of the console. As owner of AVN Systems, Pandey has worked closely with API for well over 10 years.

Dave Way Shows the Way It’s Done

Already an expert in API modules and having sold many 1608 consoles in the past, he expanded his offerings to API’s large format consoles, allowing his integration experience to provide added value. He reports that with the AXS up and running for over a year, his client’s console has become the lynchpin of that studio.

“Things have been going great for our client,” says Pandey. “The console sounds lovely and is very musical, making it conducive to musicians, writers, and producers. The AXS is very easy to work on and also integrates easily with the modern DAW, which makes it a no-brainer.”
