The Meyer Sound booth will show the new Compass® 3.0 control software, which simplifies and streamlines loudspeaker setup and control, and now includes monitoring functionality with the addition of the Compass RMS™ remote monitoring system. Compass 3.0 serves as the primary interface for users of the Galileo® and Galileo Callisto™ loudspeaker management systems, CAL™ column array loudspeakers, and Compass RMS.

The LEO™ linear large-scale sound reinforcement system will also be displayed at Meyer Sound’s booth. LEO is permanently installed at the 102,000-capacity Ohio Stadium, and is being deployed for tours and festivals around the world, including Bassnectar, Michel Sardou, and the Caprices Festival.

In demo room W203A, live listening sessions will show the ability of Meyer Sound systems to elevate intelligibility in different applications. Demonstrations of Meyer Sound¹s first AVB-capable* loudspeaker, the steerable CAL column array loudspeaker, will show how its sonic accuracy delivers intelligible voice and music reproduction in challenging acoustical environments.

Constellation® acoustic system demos will also showcase how its voice lift feature supports communication in boardrooms and other meeting spaces. Performances by vocalist Quiana Parler will demonstrate Constellation’s ability to vary a room’s acoustical characteristics to suit any event. The likely highlight of the demos will be a special multichannel sound event using Meyer Sound SpaceMap® multichannel surround panning through the D-Mitri® digital audio platform, JM-1P arrayable loudspeakers, 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, and low-voltage products.

In support of InfoComm’s education program, Meyer Sound will also sponsor a full slate of programs in the Manufacturer Trainings, including two sessions from legendary live sound mixer and Meyer Sound Education Specialist Buford Jones entitled “Principles of Live Mixing” and “Mix It Up—Live Audio Workshop.” A presentation by Product Manager Luke Jenks and Design Services Manager Michael Creason will focus on CAL loudspeakers, and Meyer Sound software engineer Jeff Koftinoff will team up with Chris Pane of Lab X Technologies on the topic of AVB for AV Network Engineers.

In addition, Marc Goossens, Meyer Sound’s business development manager for installation markets, will join the panel “Future Trends,” part of InfoComm’s “Super Tuesday” lineup. John Monitto, director of technical support, will also be on hand for the Rental and Staging Forum and Reception on Wednesday.

*AVB stands for Audio Video Bridging, the non-proprietary IEEE networking standards promoted by the AVnu Alliance, of which Meyer Sound is a member.
