– TEC Award-nominated studio MontAnna Mix Room reopens as The Show under new ownership –
– Not everyone wants a personal studio in a home, but, on average, homes with Carl Tatz Design (CTD) studios sell briskly in Music City due to homeowner demand and the CTD MixRoom™ reputation for excellence. –
Bellatti recently moved to Music City from Denver, CO, to enroll in Belmont University's Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business to expand his engineering skills. He was looking to find a home that might have an existing studio and hit pay dirt when a Carl Tatz Design PhantomFocus MixRoom™ had just come on the market. Being a major league baseball fan, he decided to rename the studio The Show, referring to the top of the game in casual parlance.
Bellatti upgraded the studio by installing the new Silver PhantomFocus™ Monitors, Carl Tatz Edition Dual 15-800 Workstation by Argosy, a PhantomFocus Silver Mesh Chrome eChair™ and PhantomFocus monitor stands by Sound Anchor. Like all PhantomFocus MixRooms, the space also features Carl Tatz Signature Series™ acoustic modules by Auralex®.
Bellatti talks about his CTD MixRoom: “The new PhantomFocus Monitors have completely changed the way I experience music. As an audio engineering student in the process of training and developing my ear, the PhantomFocus System™ (PFS™) allows me to hear an entirely transparent representation of what is coming through my speakers all across the frequency spectrum. The low-end clarity is unprecedented and something that must be experienced to believe, and the stereo imaging it provides blows me away every time I sit down in front of the gorgeous Carl Tatz Edition™ Argosy workstation. There is simply no better way to work as an engineer than with the PhantomFocus System. I often find it hard to leave my MixRoom, because I feel like I am truly listening to music for the first time! The PhantomFocus eChair is also crucial to the listening process, because it allows me to be in the perfect monitoring position. Not to mention that I am sure my lower back will be thanking me in the years to come!”
