SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – JUNE 2013: Symetrix announces an interactive call-in demonstration of the SymNet 4 Channel Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) Input Option Card, for installation in both SymNet Edge and Radius AEC DSPs. The SymNet audio conferencing demonstration is fully automated, originating from a conference room at Symetrix headquarters. The demo is available 24/7/365 by calling 1-425-640-3331.

During the demonstration, the caller’s voice is played live from an array of loudspeakers, picked up by an array of microphones, recorded, and routed back to the caller first with AEC bypassed, and then with AEC engaged. In this way, the caller experiences firsthand the effect of three audio conferencing subsystems: acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, and noise cancellation. Additionally, DTMF tones are decoded within the context of the demonstration allowing the caller to repeat, skip, or fast forward using their phone’s keypad.

“The Symetrix AEC Demo room is unique,” said Ryan Curtright, senior technical sales engineer. “This is the only fully-automated conference room in the world where a customer can call in 24/7/365 from any phone and hear AEC, AGC, and noise cancellation in a real world scenario. The caller even has the ability to repeat sections by hitting a few digits on their phone, so they can hear a particular feature a second time without having to hang up and redial. This is an incredible sales tool for our reps, integrators, and anyone else who wants to experience the benefits of a SymNet conferencing system. This is also a fantastic remote-end for our partners who are commissioning systems and need an always-available remote system to test phone audio levels and functionality of the local room.”
