Fremont, CA – October 2019… Arista Corporation, recognized globally as a leading manufacturer of AV extenders, matrix switchers, AV MultiViewers, and related products for the AV installation and industrial markets, is pleased to introduce the E-Vocal Duo+ (Plus) Audio over IP product group. Consisting of three models, the E-Vocal Duo+ product group includes the ARS-0202-A00 analog audio to Dante® to analog audio interface, the ARS-2020-A11 dual XLR microphone to Dante interface, and the ARS-0202-B11 dual XLR microphone to Dante interface with an SFP connector Fiber interface.
The E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-0202-A00 connects one’s legacy audio gear to the Dante world. It facilitates two channels of analog audio input to be integrated into a Dante network and it also converts a Dante stream into two channels of analog audio output signal. This interface is equipped with an RJ45 copper network interface.
The Arista E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-A11 and E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 are both dual XLR microphone to Dante interfaces that deliver studio quality fidelity and low noise performance for dynamic or condenser microphones. Two audio signal outputs enable Lip-Sync delay of up to 170 ms/ch (fs = 48 kHz) to synchronize the audio stream to the video stream. Both units have a built-in web-based controller for microphone gain control and Lip-Sync delay control. The E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-11 is equipped with an RJ45 copper network interface while the E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 has an SFP connector for Fiber interface, which is ideal for those times when it becomes necessary to extend the connection distance.
The copper interface units (E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-0202-A00 and E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-A11) can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or 12VDC, while the Fiber-equipped E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 interface is powered by 12VDC. The Arista E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces were designed for harsh stage conditions with lockable XLR and etherCON® connectors for both the audio and network connections. The E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces have rubber protection shells and rackmount brackets as optional items.
The Arista E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces offer a rich feature set. This includes lockable audio and network connections, being AES67 compliant, using high resolution 24-bit analog to digital conversion, plus dual power input options including a Power over Ethernet switch, PoE injector (802.3 af/at class 1), or DC 12V. As Dante-enabled devices, the E-Vocal Duo+ products deliver bit-perfect audio reproduction and offer super-low latency and sample-accurate synchronization across the entire network. The E-Vocal Duo+ products also make it easy to use one’s legacy audio gear with any Dante-connected system—delivering the interoperability, performance, and scalability that only networking can bring.
Paul Shu, President of Arista Corporation, commented on the company’s new E-Vocal Duo+ Dante-enabled interfaces. “The E-Vocal Duo+ interfaces offer a wealth of functionality, including analog audio to Dante and out to analog as well as two models specifically designed to accommodate both dynamic and condenser microphones. And with the E-Vocal Duo+ ARS-2020-B11 having a Fiber connector, technicians have the freedom to cover longer distances if needed. I have every confidence that audio and video technicians will find these interfaces both versatile and very beneficial.”
Arista’s E-Vocal Duo+ Audio over IP product group is expected to become available Q4 2019. Please contact Arista Corporation at 1-510-226-1800 for pricing and additional information.
