Shell Rock, IA – November 2019… Pro-audio manufacturer Chandler Limited, celebrates 20th anniversary with a micro-sodic series documenting the origins and sonic journey of founder, Wade Goeke, and the company’s special relationship with the iconic EMI / Abbey Road Studios; the most famous recording studios in the world.
Chandler Limited, known for its modern-day productions of the historic recording equipment originally designed by EMI for its studios — including Abbey Road — and greatly expanded and reimagined for the modern recording environment, now boasts a lineup of 24 recording studio “must haves,” with 13 of them proudly carrying-on the history, heritage and lineage of EMI / Abbey Road Studios.
Abbey Road’s Mirek Stiles, Head of Audio Products adds — “When I first met Wade I was still working as an assistant engineer at Abbey Road. Having had the pleasure of using both original TG and REDD equipment I was really impressed with his knowledge and respect towards this gear, that at the time wasn’t really on many people’s radar. Wade’s love and enthusiasm for the legacy of work started by EMI technical legends like Mike Batchelor, Len Page and Bill Livy is unparalleled. It’s always inspiring working with Wade and the Chandler team and I’m very proud of what we have accomplished together. I wish them a very happy anniversary.”
Chandler Limited’s recording equipment can be found in studios around the world, working to build the aural tapestries of some of the biggest artists, producers and engineers in modern music.
In episode one (1:56 runtime,) Wade Goeke, recounts his inspiration and inclination to develop audio equipment for the recording industry, leading to the birth of the only company in the world licensed to develop and market the official equipment of EMI/Abbey Road Studios.
